LINE DANCERS ENTERTAIN AT FANNIN COUNTY SENIOR CENTER AND HERITAGE HEALTH CARE OF BLUE RIDGE
Members of the Get In Step Blue Ridge Line Dance Class entertained at both the Fannin County Senior Center and Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge during December. As an early Christmas celebration, the line dancers wore Santa hats and performed several dances to holiday music. The dancers presented those attending with Santa hats and Christmas cards.
LINE DANCERS ATTEND IRA WEISBURD WORKSHOP
Members of the Kick Your Heels Line Dancing Class attended a workshop taught by Choreographer Ira Weisburd. This workshop held in McCaysville, GA, was one of the locations of Ira's 2011 "East Coast and Beyond" USA tour.

LINE DANCERS ENTERTAIN AT FANNIN COUNTY SENIOR CENTER
Members of the Get In Step Blue Ridge Line Dancers entertained at the Fannin County Senior Center on Tuesday, October11th. As an early Halloween treat, the dancers visited with the Senior Center Clients and presented them with Halloween-designed bookmarks and note pads as well as friendship cards . The dancers performed several dances to Halloween-themed music and some of the clients joined the line dancers during one of the dances.

On Tuesday, August 16, 2011, Clients at the Fannin County Senior Center were entertained by members of the Get In Step Line Dancers. The Line Dancers performed their dances to country/western music, sang some familiar tunes, visited with those present and gave them western bandanas and friendship cards.

On Saturday, July 16th, members of the Get In Step Line Dancers attended the 2011 Dancin' Days of Summer Line Dance Party and Workshop at Allamende Hall in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Members of the Get In Step Line Dancers entertained at Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge on Tuesday, July 12th. In honor of the Fourth of July, the dancers performed several dances to patriotic music, visited with those present and gave them bandana scarves, pencil flags and friendship cards.

LINE DANCERS PARTICIPATE IN ANNUAL 2011 FOURTH OF JULY PARADE
Members of the Get In Step Line Dancers participated in the annual downtown Blue Ridge 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 2, 2011. The dancers performed a rousing dance to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy From Company B. As their decorated float traveled through the parade route, the dancers tossed candies to the crowds. The line dancers thank the following for their assistance: Blue Ridge Swim & Tennis Club for providing the trailer, Fannin County Co-op for providing the bales of hay, Louis Schubert for his photography and Frank Young for providing transportation.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2011, clients at the Fannin County Senior Center were entertained by members of the Get In Step Line Dancers. The Line Dancers performed their dances to Hawaiian music, visited with those present and gave them Hawaiian leis, sun visors and friendship cards.

LINE DANCERS ENTERTAIN AT HERITAGE HEALTH CARE OF BLUE RIDGE
The Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge "Cruise Ship" docked in Hawaii on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, and the Get In Step Line Dancers were there to entertain the "cruisers" during National Nursing Home Week.
The Line Dancers performed their dances to Hawaiian music and gave the "cruisers" sun visors and friendship cards. After the dancing, the "cruisers" and the line dancers were treated to fresh fruit snacks by Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge Staff.
